thenewkid,

Great Question! I have had this problem for a long time as well, and so far I have not found a fix. The problem is the way wm communicates with the email server, causing our delete button on the device to communicate as a "move" option. This is also why there is no way to mark a message as spam. i will keep my fingers crossed with you.

As for now, the only way to truly delete the message is to, open it up in the mobile browser and delete the item.

Here is a little trick that I use.. (if supported by your email provider - mine is yahoo) set up a filter "if email address contains '@' then send a text to my mobile device".. this way i get texts, don't have to use the push functionality, and when i click on the text alert, it directs me to the mobile version of the message (no login required, very easy to truly delete)

Hope that helps.

This I cannot help with, I didn't even know there are folders for texts.. I believe they are all separated into threads, and you an delete the entire thread, or an individual msg.. Are you sure your txt messages are being sent to a folder when you try and delete them?

Re: Delete Deleted items

I found a solution! Get the newest version of advance config here http://julien.schapman.free.fr/touch...ation-tool.php
and in the messaging tab, set max deleted sms to 0, try it out.

Re: Delete Deleted items

How about open text messages, click on menu, click on tools, click on options, at bottom click on storage. Drop down box under "Empty deleted items:" choose Immediately
