sd mem card

how would i go about just formatting the sd card on the phone

my adapter does not work and i really need to format it .. and only way i can see is by doing a reset of the whole phone

use resco explorer or flash format and FYI a hard reset does nothing to the mem card

I would suggest to format it in another phone, or take it to a sales store and have them do it in one of theirs? Just a thought. I had to format my SD in my sons phone to get it to work again. (my home PC wouldn't even format it)
