possibly upgrading to diamond

Well after watching the reviews and youtube vids of the sprint diamond I am considering dropping the $500 bones.. I just got my htc touch at radioshack a few months ago.. (99 after rebates).. My question is once the diamond is released and someone rips the rom will it be able to work on the touch? Yes the Vga and the accelerometer are cool.. but the interface is half of it.. and I'd really like to see if that will keep my touch alive for a few months longer.. till diamond drops a couple of bills..

Just came out its basically the same but its made for a phone with the same hardware as the touch
its still in beta, but basically almost everything is fine

Thanks for the heads up.. installed everything.. works pretty dang good.. once the youtube app works.. it will be close to complete.. and may actually be a good fixx for a few months

BUT

Holding out till the PRO comes out so I can "feel" them both before making my decision. 1 month. I can hold out.....
