Acculy I haven't talked to anyone about it....this is coming from me cause I thought about if this happened to me, would this be right and it isn't.....I have only talked to Dan today and it was about the new Opera Build and A_C, but I haven't even visited PPCHaven today yet....

I suppose he took the OEM for USB2PC from n2c and edited his nuetools title so it reads USB2PC instead.....

lol no...that really came from me, it was just because I thought about it and NSFAN is a fellow Chef....so as much as he does need to be told, it shouldn't be public, it should be private, then addressed publicly to everyone that it is illegal to hexedit a copyrighted material and if you are caught you will be perma banned and with an example to show what we mean by Hexediting a program

EDIT: If you don't believe it was me that posted....an admin can clear that up by a simple IP check

i'm really flustered. about the time i think i start knowing some of you guys a little bit, things start going nuts. so far two of the best rom makers have been banned. i just wish things were different. it's not like it's microsoft against mac. no one here is selling there roms so trade secrets would apply. it does suck that no2chem didn't get credit and NFSFAN plagerized but is it really warez? geez guys.

If the "best ROM maker" is using illegal software, we have no choice other than to ban him.

nueUSB took me over 40 hours of work in a few days. It was more than a full time job. In the academic world, you would shunned forever by your peers for plaguarism. In the real world, you would be sued, or put in jail. NFSFAN was lucky to just have got a ban.

This isn't the first time he's done this either. He's stolen both vetvito's and ppckitchen's work, as far as i'm aware of. VetVito, one of the best ROM makers for the vogue, left for this very reason, and I totally understand why.

Well, I must say that what NFSFAN did was wrong, not only for stealing but for the people who asked to use his stuff and then he takes an "its my work" stance (makes him a hypocrite). But, what is done is done, he has been dealt with, does everyone need to keep posting here. Honestly all comments except the first post by No2chem should be deleted and the thread should be locked so everyone can go back to creating great things. I know since I posted here that I am not following my words, but I feel it needed to be said.

i get that. believe me. about 10 years ago i wrote a software package for autocad for land surveyors. about a year after i wrote it, a person that worked at the same company i worked at started selling the exact same software. i thought it was different until a friend of mine got a copy of it, shipped it to me and i checked the code. it was mine. 100% of it.

the difference in my case is that i wrote it specifically to make money. and as an FYI, it took a hell of alot longer than 40 hours.

the reason for my little story from down memory lane is simple. if you guys want a professional programmer's site where it's dog eat dog and everyone hates everyone then go create it. otherwise, leave this site to what it's supposed to be. people sharing ideas about ppcs and enjoying what there is to offer here without fighting.
