I personnally like OMJ's custom rom its not ovewrloaded with stuff youll never use I use it with amaze free gps, sktools not free,aned smms so I can send picture mail, every thing else is in the rom, there are also cabs in there for many other programs I found a list on here not sure where it was...good luck

I'm quite happy with the PPCKitchen 20273 ROM, I get to pick what I want and leave out other stuff. I am running this ROM right now and it is FAST! http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=29754
