nfsfans rom with skype or skype alternative can anyone help

i want to use NFSFAN's Custom BELL WM6.1 ROM
mainly because i hear its the best for bell and allows free tethering on the $7 browsing plan

i want to use skype to make calls and not drain all my minutes
although it doesnt work with the rom is there any way around this?
or a alternative program
i looked at fring but it doesnt allow skypepro(unlimited can/usa calling to work in canada it apparently uses skype credit

if anyone knows any working mods or alternatives for a skype solution
