MMS on Sprint flashed to Cricket

I was under the impression that mms was difficult to get working on a Sprint Vogue. I just recently bought a brand new Vogue and FINALLY got it flashed to Cricket. At this point the phone and text messaging worked just fine. After about 15 minutes I got the internet (wap) working and went to work on mms. My first attempt at mms worked somewhat. I sent a mms from my email on my computer to my phone, the phone alerted me that I had a mms message but wouldn't let me download it. I sat there for a few and then on a whim I decided to try to use the HTC Apache settings for mms....it worked just fine for me. I am able to receive picture messages using Arcsoft just fine.

At this point I soft reset the phone to make sure the settings wouldn't go away and they stayed. I then checked my internet (wap) and they stayed just fine as well...so I now have my Vogue with internet and mms.

If you have any questions on what I did I will try to help out with what I can. This is not difficult to do at all, and I am SURE I am not the first one to figure this out.

Re: MMS on Sprint flashed to Cricket

MMS on the Vogue is not difficult.
MMS on Sprint is difficult because it doesn't exist (for the Vogue).
I believe the servers that handle the messages were taken offline or something.
I'm sure someone else could explain it better.
Basically, Sprint doesn't support MMS on the Vogue. The problem is not the device, but the carrier.

Re: MMS on Sprint flashed to Cricket

That makes sense...now, after I reflashed my phone and entered the settings for mms I get an "unauthorized" message when I try to download my mms.

I should have just left it alone
