Alltel HTC Touch getting 6.1 soon
 

I just called Alltel and asked about the WM 6.1 upgrade and they told me it was supposed to be out on Monday, but was delayed. He thinks it was delayed as they didn't get their training on 6.1 until this week. I also checked HTC's site and the old upgrade that enables REV A is gone...

I would expect this to be out very soon.

No, the upgrade Alltel released a few months back was mainly a Radio upgrade so REV A would work. At the time WM 6.1 was not yet out.
If you look at Sprint, they waited for 6.1 to come out and then soon after released an update that upgraded the radios for REV A and installed 6.1.
Any 6.1 on the Alltel Touch as of now are not official releases, and were put together by some hardworking people that you can find using this forum.

I am waiting on this sooooo bad. I just got my touch. I just updated it to the Rev A Version.

i wont believe anything about this update till i see it. i really don't think it will be out anytime soon. all the info about it and the rumors are just so sketchy.
