No Wifi on Sprint Touch???

this my first pocket pc and new to forum talking also, so please forgive if I am a idiot with dumb questions

I read on a Htc foram that in the Sprint Touch phones all the hardware for wifi (wifi radio) is present in the phone but it has been disabled in the registry by sprint. I would like to know if this is true and if it is, does anyone know how how to turn it on or already has a registry tweak to turn it on?

No Wi-Fi for the Sprint Touch, Sprint took it out in favor of high speed, and vice versa for the GSM model (Wi-Fi but no 3G)
