Without flashing the ROM, I looked through the registry... I did not see a plugin that sprint has called "date". There is a plugin name "calendar". The calendar plugin is set to be stuck at position #6 through provisioning or the mxipupdate_oemoperators_102.provxml file. Is it the one that shows the calendar and your appointments?

HKLM\Software\MicroSoft\Today\Items\"Calendar"
"order"=6

Or do you have a plugin called "date"? Have you added anything...Here is a list of the today screen plugins set by sprint

Code:

<!-- 1. Date
  2. Owner Info
  3. Voicemail
  4. Messaging
  5. Device lock
  6. Calendar
  7. Tasks
  8. Sprint Software Store
  9. Music
    10.HTCHomeplug    -->

This is a capture of the registry.

The Date is in Today, not down in Items. I have tried adding "Type" and "Selectibility" and all other dwords but nothing works. I have also tried to delete "Date" and move it to Items which does nothing, Date just comes back in Today folder, it can't be edited or deleted via registry. Where eles do I look to change it??

Well I found a plugin that took care of the position of the date... Looks good to me!
