Touch Force EDVO

I am living in area where Sprint network is @ 1X and Alltel is EDVO. I get data @ 1X, and I get EDVO once in a blue moon at the same location. Is there a way to set my Sprint HTC Touch to get EDVO such as "forcing roam" and "EDVO only" options available?

Re: Touch Force EDVO

There is a registry setting to do this.. it is something like HKLM-Software-OEM-PhoneSetting... then change HiddenModeOperationPage from 1 to 0.... then go to start-settings-personal-phone and under the services tab you will find Mode of Operation.. highlight that and select get settings...there you will have the option to go to EVDO only mode .. hope this helps!
