cant send pictures

hey guys I have a question and yes i did check before I asked but i have the touch with the new radio Rom and I don't use the camera a lot but today was my son started kindergarten and i took a few pics to send to his grandmother who has Verizon as her home internet service and i got a message that I couldn't send the pictures. It said I should check the network and then try to resend it. By now you can unstand that i was a bit pissed to say the least, so when I got home i tried to send the pictures to myself(i am on the Comcast service) and I got the same message. Does anyone know what the hell is going on because I know i have sent pictures to these address before.
