I am having the exact same problem. No matter what keyboard I select, it randomly and unexpectedly switches back to the default tiny keyboard. This is in the middle of using the device, not after reset.

I've used SIPchange and it DOES set it to the keyboard I want, but only after a soft-reset... I still have the issue with it randomly jumping back to that keyboard during use.

I started having the problem a couple of weeks ago and since then I've flashed two different ROMs and have done a hard-reset, but the problem just won't go away!

mine only happens when i get in opera 9.5 and screws up everytime in all apps afterwards... i haved tried the sipchange.. can you tell me how you use this thing? just unzip? i didnt get the instc.

opera 9.5 has that glitch use the 9.5 diamond build as stated a few posts back

You can also use this program. It has a drop down menu and no need to copy files into folders. You need to reset for the change to take effect.

IM didnt work... still get the damn K... i think im gonna get the diamond... but not sure which one i should get :P

I give up! I have tried the sipchange and the default keyboard and not one of them will default to the pcm keyboard after reset. The small qwerty keyboard defaults every time.

Just too much time has been spent today trying to figure this out. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I have the sprint touch just did the update not to long ago. I use the fully animated qwerty key about 98% of the time until I soft reset the keyboard switches to the non animated which is a pain in the ash. If I uninstall opera while this conflict stop occurring? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

yeah uninstall the opera beta or get the opera diamond it is working great now...
