HTC Home Weather not updating/Device not Syncing correctly

For some reason my phone was been stalling any time I try to get a weather update from HTC Home Weather. It says, "dialing #777" thing, then I get the "attempting to download data" message for forever it seems. Do I need a new HTC Home Weather down or something?

To make matters worse now I'm having problems with ActiveSync as it doesn't always Sync the device now. It loads, looks for changes for like 3-4 minutes and shows a connection, but also a synchronization error. I haven't done any radical program changes so I don't have a clue what's wrong.

What ROM are you using? Any iffy programs installed?

I had the same issue after running the latest upgrade for Bell. A power-camera-resetbutton combo fixed the weather issue and a re-install of the activesync solved the connection issue as well.

Nope, my device isn't even unlocked! The ROM is the latest HTC ROM update (3.something, Windows Mobile 6.1)

Said the Phone info
(VOGU100)
SPL-2.01.000
CPLD-3
then "Serial" at the bottom and stayed like that with the 4 Red-Green-Blue-White color bars.

So I reset it again ... no change.

I've tried re-installing ActiveSync numerous times and the problem isn't going away. It's some kind of connectivity issue but I haven't changed anything with the phone recently. The most recent thing I did was the Official HTC ROM update listed, and that was two weeks ago.

e-mail seems ok... Internet a little slow ... Y'know what? Actually everything seems a bit slower, it's like the button presses take another 1-2 seconds to register on my Touch now.

I've been reading up on how a lot of users are having difficulties updating and connecting since the Official HTC ROM Update. I can almost pinpoint that to the beginning of my problems, but like I said the phone seemed to work fine days after the installation.

It's like the lines the phone would dial to access/update info no longer work of something (dialing #777 for Cellular Service w/ Weather). I'm more concerned with the ActiveSync, because that's been impossible to do for four days now.

EDIT: I ran a little test, at 11:30 AM I clicked the Weather button on the home screen to see if it would update. It's 1:20 PM now and it's STILL "attempting to load data". WOW.

I don't know dude-- The first thing i would do is back up everything then hard reset (Green, Red, reset with stylus - for a few seconds until you see the menu) this will delete everything, so if you have any documents, pictures, or important contacts, make sure you copy them off first.

Weord, Hard reset didn't seem to work, all my phones settings are still there. Press/hold Power=Camera+reset w/ stylus right? I got the Loading screen then the bars. It didn't go away so I pressed reset and it loaded back up to the normal screen.

EDIT: Ok mail isn't updating either now, and occasionally hitting end on a phone call won't end the call. The new Official HTC ROM update has killed my phone.
