Igo 8, Canada terrains & building displaying?

Hi guys, i have been using igo 2006 for quite a while and upgraded to igo 2008 recently. I live in canada(quebec) and i ran into some trouble with the software. I have been trying back and forth to get the terrain working but i was unsucessful. First of all, did anyone get the terrain and or building working with Igo8? If so, here is what i have done and can you correct me if i am wrong?

I got the 2007 maps and POI working. But when it come to terrain and buildings, they wont show up. I have both landmarks and Elevated roads checked in 3d options and Building vis is far ahead and terrain detail level is at high.

I have the .dem file in the dem folder and the building file in the building folder. Both of the files are UNzipped.
