Possible fix for Verizon 6900 GPS problem

First off sorry for the new thread but I believe we've got a real possibly for the fix.

The HTC Advanced Configuration Tool contains an item called
"GPS - Assisted GPS - Enabled" . I enabled this and the only problem I have getting a lock - is how fast my PPC can keep up!!!

I've looked (like everyone else) for an answer to this issue. Not seen this one before and it seems to work. At least with DHarvey's 2.5 verison rom.

Let me know!

Mine was already set at enabled and I've had to add other tweaks to get it working, and then depending upon the build (I don' understand why), it is tempermental.

I almost think the build is the biggest variable. I had my custom working very consistent and then tried another and haven't gotten the same results since. Of course I overwrote my old selections file too.

But even with that rom is wasn't every time, just most.

I am currently running DHavey's 2.5, but I've flashed most of them looking for the best. I routinely come back to Dan's stuff. The next best for me has been Negamanns stuff.

This is really peculiar - like most when I think I've solved it - it is simply a tease.

Today, my 6900 reverted back to it's fickled self. Didn't work well - now its back to 10 second locks. Go figure.
