ROM upgrade for VZ Touch...when?!!

Hi all,
I've seen where Sprint Touch's official ROM is out now. Anyone heard rumors about the VZ Touch and a similar upgrade? VZ is always behind Sprint!! Booooo. I have been too scared to flash the ROM on my VZ Touch with the ROM meant for Sprint.

By the way, Sprint Touch users....do you now use Program GPS port 4 or a hardware GPS port to access the GPS in your Touch?

I honestly would just flash if you read every step you will be fine. If you wait on verizon you will wait forever. Im also on verizon and i use port 4 for gps.
