Just got the unltd mobile browser, what now?

Hi,

I just got the unltd mobile browser and im not sure how to make "good" use of it? I have not yet updated my ROM hoping BELL will come up with an official ROM with revA and GPS...

The only thing ive found a use for the internet connection is update the weather :P...

Ive tried surfing using Opera which everyone seems to use...but I find the URL bar and lower bar taking like 2/3 of the screen!!! How do you guys use this thing to surf? (probably im just a noob and still figuring out how to use a wm!)

Yes this is my first WM TOUCH smartphone!

Let me know what good sites I can get to ...like live TV, music , etc.. or 3rd party app that can make use of the unltd mobile browser feature...

For Apps go to http://www.freewarepocketpc.net and just do searching on google for the other stuff but if you read alot of these threads youll find out alot more than you would on your own these threads rock for Noobs, as i am a Noob too.

I'm pretty sure you did the same thing I did when I first got Opera Mobile 9.5. You got the VGA version, try using the QVGA and you will see that Opera Mobile is much easier to use and the bars don't cover much at all, and when they do, they fade away as soon as the page loads.

oh there's a difference?! LOL... i didnt even know what is VGA or QVGA...

so the TOUCH is QVGA?! im gonna google it in a moment..why is it so complicated .. i mean this is like windows right...so why cant they design 1 version to fit any resolution :P

again a question probably only a noob would ask!

Yes as the person above me stated, the Touch is QVGA, and it has to do with the screen size for the phone (I think). Some are just suited best for certain resolutions.
