I guess once created, your login name can only be modified by an admin.

Just a quick follow-up: Dashwire allows you to change your shared settings, so that you can control which photos show up on your shared page. And now from the mobile client, after you snap a picture you can automatically classify it as shared or private. All this can be done both from the dashboard and from the phone.
