My advice is the same as what others have said - do a test one month, and even then use it in moderation knowing that in the future you *could* receive a bill for your usage. -GT |

Re: Bell Tethering
PDAnet is about 35 dollars but its worth every penny! and no wont get caught using that because it looks like your just sync'd with you Notebook .. not Tethered. They have a Trial before you buy.. id suggest you try it first... Ive been using it since the First PAN Device.

Re: Bell Tethering
I bought PDAnet 2.0 and installed it on my laptop, then I installed the CAB on my Bell Mobility Touch. I did not special configurations just the basic install. I turned off the WIFI connection on my laptop. Clicked on the PDAnet icon on my taskbar and selected Connect. It worked perfectly. I am VERY neurotic and even though it works I`m wondering if I was suppossed to do any special configurations to hide Bell Mobility tethering. When I look at the options on my Touch, Proxy Mode is checked and Default Ntework is selected, are those the right ones? Upon connection the laptop says initializing connections, username/password verified, and finally connected.
What do you guys think? Is it all setup properly? Thanks for the help |
