Hubby says that stereo bluetooth headphones will not produce true stereo sound on the HTC because the Touch doesn't have A2DP. Is that right?

Nope. It has A2DP and works fine with my Plantronics Voyager 855. -e.

Got a registry editor? Navigate to:

HKLM\Software\MicroSoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings

...And ask him, now what do think those are in there for?

The touch most certainly DOES have A2DP and my Motorola HT820 stereo bluetooth headphones sound great on it.
