Mine was doing this as well on the new beta1 ROM. When I started LiveSearch it would connect to Sprint PCS. Then I would select Change Location/Get GPS Location and it would pop up a bubble saying Connecting to Phone as a Modem. I just installed the Sprint ICS Fix found here :http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=30265 and it fixed the Problem!

when I first flashed this ROM , there was a cool flame battery, now it's a lame green battery. I don't have much experience with S2U2...any help?

i love the rom!!! however, it wont let me change the today screen background. i go to settings, today, appearance and choose a new bg, but it does not change it. any help?

start,settings,today,and items is what you want not apperence....choose a new skin go to manilla2d and choose a skin... Red is the best...for me... but chose you?

the skins are in appearence, not items. i dont see anything about manilla 2d under items.

its not manill2d its touch flo under items;any who if you want to change backround image you can check the box on the bottum of the appearence page and select imaces from your persinal photos or the ones you have downloaded

this rom came with a lot of themes in the appearance tab. i try to use one and it does not change, even after a soft reset. thanks for the help.

Tried installing this both on storage card and device, and I get the following error with both:

"Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions."

Only problem I have really had so far is that my speaker on my phone no longer works. Anyone have a quick fix for me?
