I agree that Throttle is the reason for both my appeal and issues with this ROM. I love the look and feel of Throttle but stability is most important. As Throttle develops I'm sure I'll end up with a ROM based on it but not right now.

I cant say that I have seen alot of the issues as u guys do or I would have fixed them.

Gps is hit or miss has always been like this for me on VZW never changed the rest of it I have had minor stability problems with Throttle nothing that a soft reset or a reload of the today screen does not fix though.

Nex, please don't take any of what I'm saying personally. I know you put a lot of work into this ROM. Maybe its just Verizon phones that don't work so good with this ROM.
I never had GPS issues with OMJ's ROM and now I'm using Negamann's ROM without any GPS issues.
My biggest concerns were slow downs and freeze ups. I don't mind soft resetting daily but when I need to reply to text or make a call and can't cause nothing will open and need to reset it's time to move on. Everyday I had some issue where I needed to reply or call my boss on time sensitive things and couldn't until I reset. I still think its the nicest looking and it was packed with everything I need. I'm not calling it quits but I will have to wait til I'm not so busy at work where not calling right away makes a difference on my check.

I wonder what your issue coulda been as I am on VzW and like I said I have GPS issues but that it minor lags here and there but was never in a spot where it wasnt usable.

Tried both of those and made no diffrence to my GPS.

It is odd cause after configuring Throttle and setting up my contacts I was super happy with it but then I started having issues. May have been Garmin didn't mesh well. Its the only thing I installed after flashing the ROM.
Like I said before, its an awesome set up and I'll be trying it again in the future.

Nex, thanks for all of your hard work but I don't think this ROM is ready for daily use just yet. I'm more than happy to test ROMs and report back but I don't think this version has anything else to offer me. Like I said before, aesthetically nothing comes clsoe but it just isn't stable enough for daily use.

I suspect the sames issues

Ok guys check it out.... Still a work in progress using some config files from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408778 nir36 did a nice job on this setup leaving me not to much left to do but repointing locations and resizing the limits.. Oh yeah getting vjtodaytoggle to work as well what a pita..

I don't use a screen protector. I've used them in the past with my Palm and never liked them
