Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

Should I flash this rom or wait for the version 3? This rom does have some bugs.

just flash it and set up your email and sms through the throttle config... you shouldn't have many problems.

Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

Quick question, what weather app does this ROM use, and is it animated like the diamond? It looks like it is the one from either the diamond, or the instinct.
Can someone who has installed it elaborate a little?

Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

I'm using Sprint Vogue. The UI is great but still far away from daily use.

1. Cannot dial plus code. All the phone numbers in my contacts are from Outlook and prefixed by "+1". This is the most annoying issue.
2. The phone can be easily slowed down by running some programs.
3. Exception dialog shows up when I browse email and SMS pages.
4. HTC GPS tool shut down unexpectedly sometimes. It will result multiple HTC GPS tool instances in memory and slow down the phone greatly.
5. UI animation is not smooth. Throttle should learn from PointUI?

Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

I suggest use leaked Sprint rom as base OS and remove some tools.

Smile Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

Been using v2 since last night and I really like it. It looks great though a little slow and it has everything you can possibly want built in. Great job Nex. I do have a few questions:

My clock displays the right time while locked but when unlocked it goes back 3hrs. The small clock by the battery is always correct while the big clock is off. How do I fix this? Its not all the time. Sometimes I restart and its correct sometimes its not.

Sometimes I get an error "Eooo: System.NullReferenceException...". What does this mean?

The weather app has no night time pics. I saw someone else asked about this but didn't see an answer. Sorry if its already been asked.

I sync my phone and my contacts are only on my phone for a few hours then disapper. Any thoughts?

Other than that its an amazing set up. Visually its great and its very solid especially since its not the final version. Can't wait to see the end product.

Thanks

Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

Been using this Rom for a few days now. There are few things i would like to do if someone out there could help me please. I have the gpsviewer cab that I installed to the device but I can not get the program icon to show up in the program section of the touch flo 3d. Also can anyone point me in the direction of the registry tweek to prevent your device going into 1x and remain on reva. I remember seeing it but i cant find it now. I live in an area where the service is borderline between the two. Thanks for any help.

Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

Day 3 of using this ROM update. No problems with UI, MMS/SMS, Calls, Internet, GPS (super fast), Contacts, Games, or configurations. Its the nicest ROM I've ever used. The only things I would like to see improved on are:

*No night pics on Weather App
*I had to download a dialer because the one it came with didn't let me use the keypad during calls
* This error sometimes comes up. "Eooo: System.NullReferenceException..." but I can click OK on it and it disappears.

*** I do wish it had a picture dialing app for my top contacts. I really did like that feature in previous ROMs.
**** No cube and don't miss it. The UI makes the cube useless.

I'm gonna stick with it cause it works. Minor bugs that I'm sure will be taken care of in V3.

Thanks
