Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

i had that problem with the weather too, i opened internet explorer so it would establish a data connection, then hit the weather tab, and it updated, the rom has only done that to me once

wow... talk about quick fix... thanks jon
i've had multiple data connections all day, i guess all i needed to do was hit weather while i was connected.

This rom is primo! I think i may be stickin with this one til an update. Been usin it all day and love it... thats hard to say for other roms, i usually get sick of em by the end of the day cuz they lag or just don't cut it.

Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

I'm just glad to see someone working on something like this. It looks awesome I flashed it testing it out, but I like my phone the way it is now, it would take to long to re-install everything. I know I'll have to flash at some point when the official GPS is completely released and I'm not planning to flash again till then. But when I do hopefully there's a build of this using it. Or the PPC Kitchen can make one just like this for myself.

Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

Hey guys, I am having issues with the email page. I have a POP3 email account, and when I select the email plugin on TL it loads a blank page. How can I set my POP3 account to be the default mail client. I went into the Touchflo3D settings and changed the "mail account" to my email address. But still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

It has to be the nickname you assigned to the account when you set it up. It is case sensitive. So if your email address is somebody@sprint.com for example, but you named it Sprint in pocket outlook - you would have to type "Sprint" in the TouchFLO3D settings page.

Re: NexVision's Throttle Manila

This might be an extremely stupid question, so I apologize in advance.

I was under the impression that a hard reset was going into settings/clear storage and entering "1,2,3,4" and then it would do a hard reset.

Is that not correct? The reason I asked is I am having issues with the ROM freezing, so I was going to do a hard reset(I forgot to do one when I installed the ROM) but I could not find the program in settings.

you can do a hard reset by holding the talk and end button and pressing the soft reset under the phone by the usb input..

your right about clear storage, but this might be even easier
