the entry is supposed to be "Volumn", also upon further registry searching i also found the following reg entrys related to the startup animation

HKLM\Software\HTC\StartupAnimationEngine

value = StartupAnimationEngine (String) = 1.0

and also

HKLM\Software\HTC\MASD\StartupAnimationEngine (String value = 1_0_814719_0

so it looks like you have to have the engine as well as the registry entrys for it to work

This along with the other settings do not work. I'm just going to add it to my kitchen the next time that I run it.
