Landscape/Portrait Mode in different programs

Is there a registry hack/cab/anything to allow the user to pick the screen for different programs? (i.e. Landscape mode for messaging, portrait mode for everything else)

I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere or if this is something really simple. I'm a noob and have just gotten into modifying/customizing my phone.

I'd appreciate any help I could get. Thanks!

You can make the camera button rotate the screen with a long press or short press, go to start/settings/buttons. Hope that helps. and still ues the camera button.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. That wasn't exactly what I was looking for but it will work! Would you happen to know of a way to set a default keyboard for certain programs as well?

So what does this do?

I dl'd it opened it and chose touch keyboard...nothing seems to have changed?

I would love a bigger, wider landscape touch keyboard for text/email etc.

Were you able to find something that automatic set what keyboard you wanted to use even after a soft reset?
