Issue with 6.1 rom and Opera

Ok, I installed the "official" 6.1 rom on both my phone and my friends phone.

I did both updates with the same download and computer.

My install does not have Opera on my phone, but my friends install does.

My phone works great otherwise, (gps, improved bluetooth etc..).

This happen to anyone else?

Also, does anyone know of any easy way to add Opera or should I just reflash my phone?

Just flash the phone again. Same issue happened with mine and a couple other people on ppcgeeks. You just re flash the phone and no worries!

He means connect your phone to your pc and run the RUU again.

BTW: The same thing happen to me too. After flashing again it fixed the issue.

Is that the only way? I just got the phone set up the way I wanted and don't want to install everything again.

Well then dont flash your phone and leave it as it is

You don't have to re-run the RUU just do a hard reset and it will work.

Moonboots, if you do a backup with something like Sprite or SPB, I use Sprite and swear by it, you can restore all of your settings and programs no problem.

Av8er: Thanks for the advice about the hard reset. I will try that later today and report back.

a hard reset will do the same as reloading with the ruu...
