I like the Battery meter as well...nice thin colored line across the top of the screen. Exactly how it should be.

I would venture to guess YES, it will consume more battery, plus it might exacerbate the "white dot" issue that people see on their screen (caused by the vibration mechanism)...

yeah.... viberates for about a second... makes dialing more difficult. i read through the whole post and didn't see anything about shortening the lenth of the pulse. ended up uninstalling the program. good work though.

anything about the pulsing when texting? freeware about pulsing when texting?

What's the "white dot" issue? I haven't heard anything about it. The only time my phone vibrates is when it's on silent, and now with screen taps. I'm really liking the vibrate on taps, but won't do it if there's a chance it'd mess up the device.

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

Agreed- the vibration should be cut down to just a milesecond. I have seen this work out well with some of the verizon LG touchscreen phones.

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

Do you guys think there is any way to play with a registry file for this application to shorten the vibration during a screen tap? I think the touch commander works well, but its definitely too long of a vibration to text using it.

Touch Response really looks like a great program. Unfortunately the duration options don't work on the vzw xv6900. If they get that fixed it will be an all around choice for haptic vibration.

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

The xda cab works like a charm for sprint. Thanks I've been looking for something like this.
