when i start up my touch a dialog box pops up and says "Today screen plugin locale ERROR, reinstalling will fix this problem". thats great but how do i go about doing that. im all new to this its my first ppc and dont know wht im really doin. so when i ask some really stupid questions dont get irratated please ](*,). i also have instant mess and dont use it so i tried to delete it but it doesnt seem to want to go away now that says "cannot delete im there has been a sharing violation the source or destination may be in use" but i have completely deleted it from everything i have and even when i click on the IM on my phone it will not even pull it up. i have got more questions but i dont wont to write a book ova here. thanks for alll you all help.

Do you happen to know which today screen plugin it's talking about?
FOr the instant message, which instant message program is it, there are plenty out there, and to best help you with it, need to know which one it is.

on the today screen thats all it said. my phone died one day and went home charged it up powered it on and that what it said. i use AIM.

When you unisntalled AIM did you make sure it was stopped in the task manager?
If not try to reinstall it, make sure it's stopped and the uninstall it.

For the plugin, I am not sure, only thing I can suggest is go through the different items that is checked to be displayed today screen and see if there is anything there you know is not on your phone.
