Re: opera doesn't like htc keyboard
It's some registry editing that you have to do in order for it to work with Opera. Someone on XDA posted a cab for Opera with the registry settings added in the installation. I'll post it as soon as I get home.

Re: opera doesn't like htc keyboard
the qwerty keypad is seperate in the new rom try selecting it instead of the 20key keypad. I thought it was ugly so got the diamond keyboards and they work/look great with opera 9.5

I have the oem verizon rom and don't plan on switching to another as I have very little experience with ppc's. I know that if I don't do it right I'm out $400 bucks so I would rather wait until I get more experience. |

Re: opera doesn't like htc keyboard
The link for the cab expired. But here's the registry tweaks.
1. Open a registry editor and go to HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9 2. Add a multi-string key named "CustomClassNames" 3. Add "WMOpera_EditEx" and "Opera_MainWndClass" for Opera 9.x 4. Soft reset the device 5. Enjoy working t9 in Opera |
