Camera misaligned

Strange problem just started. When I start the camera, it is misaligned by about 3/4 inch off to the left (when held in landscape - up when held normally). It seems to take pictures OK, but I can't zoom or change any settings because the place where you would click is now off the screen. All other programs, the screen is properly aligned.

I don't use it a whole lot, and just noticed it. I'm running OMJ's Verizon Rom 3.02.651.2, Radio 3.37.15. Just recently added spb mobile shell and phone suite. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I know it had been working - probably added a couple other things since I've used the camera when it was working.

Any ideas?

Re: Camera misaligned

No - I can't click on any of the things you would normally click on from camera - zoom, change to video, settings - nothing.

Re: Camera misaligned

Same thing happened to mine. Soft reset fixed it.

Re: Camera misaligned

I tried soft reseting multiple times - no luck. After fooling around with it some more, I should clarify. The image you see on the screen actually is just cutting off the right-side (bottom when held upright), and a sliver along the top. So the 'X' to close the camera is gone - the only way I get out of there is I've used AEB Plus to have the camera button take me to the Today screen. (I get to camera by holding down the camera button).

The zoom bar and buttons on the left are there, but don't work when you press them, and the little up arrow at the bottom is there to get into the camera settings, but doesn't work either.

Again, I can take a picture, and it comes out with image that would have taken up the entire preview screen. But with no settings, no zoom, no ability to switch to video mode, or whatever, it's annoying.

Since it's in my Rom, I take it I can't uninstall it. But can I install another copy of it (or any other camera software) and redirect AEB to that software instead?

Any other ideas? I really don't want to hard reset and reinstall all of the other programs and settins I've added to my phone.

Thanks...

Re: Camera misaligned

Just checking again - still can't get my camera to work right. Is there a way to reinstall the camera software? Where can I find camera.exe - searched and googled - no luck...

Thanks in advance!
