How reliable is your touch?

if i started loading http://forum.xda-developers.com/ on my touch , while its loading, if i dial my touch's number from land line it will always go to voice mail.
Not even once it has interrupted data and picked up call.

On the otherhand if i do the same thing on titan it will always stop data connections and starts ringing.

trying to figure out if my Touch bad or it is designed that way.

Re: How reliable is your touch?

when you connect to data are you ev or 1x. i believe if it is ev the call should break through, especially if you are rev a. and with 1x it is one or the other.

Re: How reliable is your touch?

I was at the Sprint store the other day and someone was having a similar problem. Sprint's solution... a new phone. So you might want to go to the store and have it checked out.

Re: How reliable is your touch?

My carrier refused to cover it under the warranty because manufacturer warranty is not transferable, they said.

I think i know what the problem is. It has something to do with the PRI version.

i am running 1.34.xxxx , can anybody else what your PRI version is ?

thanks

Re: How reliable is your touch?

It's only happened 3 or 4 times since I got my Touch a month or so ago, but with 1X I get the call, and it stops data.
