The Sprint has not enabled the GPS Chip in the phone itself. For using
the GPS service, you must have GPS capable phone. The HTC SCP6900 phone
is capable of using only GPS-911 service.
Let me share with you that the HTC phone is not capable for Picture mail
service. Due to this reason you are not able to send the picture
messages through text messages.
If there is anything else I can assist you with, please always feel free
to write to us. We will be glad to assist you.
Thank you again for contacting Sprint. We appreciate your business.
Sincerely,
Jasmine K.

So you are saying I can upgrade to windows mobile 6.1 by going into a
Sprint store? And that Sprint has not enabled the GPS chip in the phone
itself yet? Do they plan to? Also out of curiosity, why can't such a
powerful phone send pictures over SMS?
Thanks
Nick
