Phone Alarm progs that override phone sound settings

Basically i goto work, keep the phone on vibrate so i dont disturb other workers with my loud ringtone , and i come home and my alarms for the next mornings are set for (Vibrate and wav Ringtone alarms to wake me up). but alot of times i come home and forget to raise the volume up so the next day the phone alarm is pretty weak and i resort to my computers alarm clock.

I was looking for a phone alarm program (or windows mobile reg hack?) that overrides whatever the phones sound settings are, and makes sure the alarms sound settings override.
I think i saw phoneAlarm did this. Any programs you all recommend to check out?

Thanks, I really appreciate any info. Otherwise i am getting an alarm clock

Re: Phone Alarm progs that override phone sound settings

funny you keep mentioning "phone alarms," because there is a program that does EXACTLY what you want, called "PhoneAlarm."

It overrides EVERYTHING...

I set my phone to "Sleep" when I go to bed. Sets the volume to 0 for everything but phone calls. At 7am, it changes to my "normal" profile, adjusts the backlight, and then my wake-up alarm goes off a few minutes later.

Check it out.

Plus, I have a profile for car, that turns on bluetooth, and you can even set it to discoverable.

Try out Pocket Alarm. Its barnone the best. Overides your phones volume settings. Can use Mp3, WWA for alarm sounds and even says the time when the alarm goes off in a nice girls voice. It also boats the most options available for an alarm program. Highly reccomended.

Absolutely agreed!

To Phonealarm noobs: It takes a little bit of time to get it configured the way you want, and to find a skin that you like, but once you do have it set, it's indispensable!

Re: Phone Alarm progs that override phone sound settings

PocketAlarm worked in regards to changing the system volume when the alarm goes off, so i might buy that, gonna test a lil' more.
Phonealarm I set the phonealarm settings to pick system volume at 100%, and it was quiet. The main screen was too cluttered for simple phone alarm functionality, So i am gonna uninstall it, not my cup of tea. I have to admit though, PocketAlarm has the most action packed set of settings i ever seen in software haha (regular settings, and presets screens both have many tabs worth of options). I dunno if that is good or bad, I kinda figured out what setting does what, but many options are unclear.

Re: Phone Alarm progs that override phone sound settings

I use phonealarm, but I actually hate that it's got a today plugin... I already use HTC Home for 99% of everything phonealarm shows me... I wish I could push and hold my camera button to get a profile switcher to pop up, and have phonealarm run in the background to change profiles based on time too...

does pocketalarm do this?

Re: Phone Alarm progs that override phone sound settings

ScrapMaker,

To remove today plugin:
Start -> Settings -> Today -> Items; then uncheck phonealarm.

To change buttons:
Start -> Settings -> Buttons; It should say which button opens the camera app, click it, then go down to assign program
