Found a problem.

First, I configured Windows Live and set schedule to "As items arrive". Then soft resetted. Confirmed that it reconnects by watching the connection icon and sending myself an email.

Now I notice that the data connection arrows are sold white all the time. Does this mean there is constant data transfer? Usually, they grey out to indicate there is a connection, but in idle mode (no data transfer).

Also, the backlight control panel thing doesn't work. It starts up, then disappears.
