Trouble getting notification of text messages

Is anyone having trouble getting notification of text messages?

I have an HTC Touch that I recently flashed to the leaked sprint rom WM 6.1 and I can't seem to get the phone to vibrate when I receive a text message. The light doesn't flash either, and I don't get notification on the s2u2 screen on the bottom right like I usually do.

I do get the icon that shows I have a message on the home screen, and the phone comes out of standby but no vibrating even with the phone turned on without s2u2 on.

I've tried messing around with the WM settings and messaging is set to vibrate but I don't receive any notification.

Help?
