Re: PPST.exe

fyi---I dont include PPST in my roms, cuz I dont want the non-sprint users to run & hose up their phone.....it's best for Sprint users to run it from the leaked rom & letting carrier customizations run.

Re: PPST.exe

Apparently, you need to run it on whatever custom ROM you load afterwards... it changes things in the registry. I had previously run the PPST.exe in the leaked ROM, then loaded your V2 ROM, and GPS was shoddy at best. Running PPST.exe again gave me pretty good GPS, except I still seem to lose GPS after about 24 hours.... then I have to soft-reset... I just ran it again, and hopefully it will correct whatever issues I am having...

Yeah. I hosed my Bell phone with it. If anyone has some advice for me I would appreciate it. If you don't use the carrier that supplies the PPST.

DO NOT RUN IT ON YOUR PHONE.

Hrm, that's weird, I thought that everyone who posted links to the leaked ROM said that, under no circumstances, should non-sprint people let customizations run... same for us sprint people when we ran the altell ROM...

I know for sure that all the tutorials specifically say not to let it run if you aren't sprint or altell (provided you have the appropriate PPST.)

You are right. I was reading the forum from my phone and I missed the warning. It was a stupid mistake on my part.

Re: PPST.exe

Were you able to get it repaired? I had read somewhere that the newer radios are tough to downgrade from...

Did you get your phone fixed tripper22? I think I may have let Alltel customizations run by accident...but I don't use internet on my phone anyways...but I'd like to fix it anyways in case I do get a data plan.
