Re: scratch on touchscreen

I agree about the invisible shield. I have one covering the whole phone and it works great. As for the scratch, I have used Brasso and a microfiber cloth. Rub in a circular motion. It will take 10 or 15 minutes, but it will look like new when you are done.

Work perfect.. But today at work I was holding my phone and a manilla envelope with the metal clasp thing..

Didn't notice that it was open point out. I held the phone face into the clasp.. sigh, brand spanking new, clean as can be protector has a face carved into it.. Grr.. now to find another one of those Sprint supplied protectors.. Fits great..

Man it's almost depressing.. :???: Thankfully it wasn't directly on the screen.

Sounds like your screen protector isn't so tough! Get Invisible Shield - they are guaranteed for life and will almost certainly outlive the device :)

Am I wrong, or does the Invisible Shield over more than the screen, masking the touch's velvety goodness?

hah tried brasso today. left some scuffy buff marks on my phone haha. i am gonna order the 'Ice Cream' solutions mentioned in http://www.pcwelt.de/it-profi/englis...atch_removers/ and try that. Brasso made it worse i think hehe, need to get to try stronger abrasive for the main scratch and a milder one for the new lil scuffs hehe.

Does the invisible shield screen-only protector fit perfectly like the stock one?

My supplied screen protector is all scratched up after only about 6 weeks.

well if you want to get a true quality screen protector look up invisble shield i have tested thing thoroughly and love it.

I tried the Invisible Shield and hated it. It was not smooth enough, I found that the product would be great for protecting the rest of the device but it is too rubbery for the actual screen. I replaced the screen protector with the one from BoxWave SKU bw-16-3067-0 and I love it!

Re: scratch on touchscreen

I have been having a look around eBay and various other shopping sites for a new front part of the case for my Sprint Touch. I have a scratch on the screen and would like to replace it. Does anyone know a place to get them from? Has anyone done this? Is it easy?

Thanks

wow, Radtech ICE CREAM solution really worked on my sisters ipod scratches in 20-30minutes. so far worked on it 2 hours on my Touch scratch. and minimal luck. gonna keep trying when i can this week.

ljstevens Verizon i know i think does it for 50$ but i dunno if that includes the 'return' plan i pay extra for. i am just experimenting with different solutions on my screen now
