XV6900 Problem

I just bought my xv6900 2 days ago and i noticed that each time my phone goes idle as it goes to sleep and when someone text messages me i dont get a notification until i turn on the phone again with the button on top of the phone. and also sometimes i dont receive a call and when i next turn back on my phone it says missed call..

does anyone perhaps have the same problem or know whats wrong with my phone?

Try this:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone
"Sleep" = 1

Check out this thread, it has a GREAT introductory guide and how to for editing the registry...

-=- or -=-

unzip this, copy it to your phone, then run the cab file. It will install the above registry edit for you.

Re: XV6900 Problem

I have the same problem on missing calls on my xv6900. Actually, it happened on my phone after I used it for 3-4 days after I do a soft reset of my phone. The problem is that the ringer dose not ring and it registers the call as missed call. After I soft reset the phone, the problem goes away until 3 or 4 days later.
Seem like a software problem similar to reboot Windows on your computer.
My question is what does the setting of "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone "Sleep" = 1" mean?
Does it make the phone not sleep anymore?

Thanks for any information
