lost data no internet! please help

Hello everyone. I'll make this quick and easy question. I have successfully updated to 3.35 radio, and tried several different custom roms in the past 2 weeks... At some point, i lost my internet connection, went back to stock rom successfully, and tried entire process over with and without the new radio (depending on which rom i tried according to instructions) and still no internet. I have spent literally over 4 hours on the phone with bell (Canada) to no avail. Only other option is to beat it with a hammer. I have noticed a couple people have had the same problem.. i have read these and XDA forums for hours and hours and hours, to try and fix this and get my Data connection back. tried almost every Rom i could find... to no avail. I'm just wondering if anybody had a sound fix for getting the Data connection back working again before i go to the store i got it from and freaking out and trying to get a new phone, or sending it off for a warranty claim which they say could take 6-8 weeks. Thanks for your time.

Do you have your carrier's name banner on the home plugin?

Any takers? Anybody ever loose their data on their Touch and were able to get it back?

I have... several times. also, the tech guys have had me delete, remove battery, and re power up and it gets its connection settings automatically, so even when i make one manually, it still makes its own, and then it shows two connections, and "Auto Select" in the list. Thanks for your reply.

why dont u try to input the data connection settings yourself?

You've probably already done this but have you went to:

Settings > Phone >Services > Internet

It worked for me when my internet wasn't working.

There is nothing in there that says anything about internet.

connections
connections
tap add a new modem connection.
do not change anything here
tap next
enter the number
#777
tap next
on the user name leave it blanck
tap finish
tap OK
open internet explorer
type any web address,

on the network log on,
check mark Save password,
tap OK. This is for all windows movile devices
