Re: Rev A.. Enabled or Disabled?
I am with Bell as well and there is no info inregard to dataparms Rev A, my mobile.speedtest show up anywhere from 450k to 1093 k for download , I forget what the upload speeds where as , I din't think the Rev A speed applied to upload Daaa.

Re: Rev A.. Enabled or Disabled?
rev 0 max upload is 150kb/s, rev A is 5-700kb/s.
like said up above, the download theoretical values only go from 2.4 Mbit/s on rev 0 to 3.1 Mbit/s on rev A. not huge differences in download speeds. People are confusing the fact their download tests are slower/faster with having rev A which is not 100% true or can be the proving factor. only an upload test and looking at lower latencies can be the evidence that rev A is there. Youll see a noticeable jump in upload speeds- anything over ~150 upload will be easy to tell its truly rev A. Thats why i believe these poll results are bs so far- its more people not knowing what theyre doing or not bothering to even test, then true results. All the people whove actually done the test have agree ENABLE=ENABLE without a doubt. |

Original Sprint Leaked rom - USB - Internet Sharing
Enable means Enable tested http://www.speedtest.net/result/271559617.png Idk what happened to the upload but the download is RevA. http://www.speedtest.net/result/271559983.png |

Re: Rev A.. Enabled or Disabled?
im not sure if im right but for me disable gets me more stable speeds of about 2mbps but with it set to enable i was getting between 1.3-3.8mbps so idk if its just more of a stability thing or what.....i was using mobilespeedtest.com from my phone and thats how i got my results
...o and if you want to see if rev. a is in your area here is a link for sprint coverage http://www.sprint.com/business/produ...doEnterZip.jsp just click the closest city to you....dont put the zip code in doesnt seem to work for me at least o my upload with it set to enable is 220-358kb/s and with it set to disable upload is 325-478 it doesnt tell me the latency though but with the speeds im getting with it set to disable im going to keep it there....and yes i checked i do have rev. a in my area |

but your connecting to "their" server through your phone....its just using a server that has less people using it at once and that might be why their are faster speeds |
Re: Rev A.. Enabled or Disabled?
I Open EPST, but it asks for a unlock code...any idea what this code could be? I tried dialing ##778# but it says its not a valid phone number.

I recently upgraded to the new official Sprint Touch WM 6.1 ROM, so I decided to test this out last night. I did multiple tests on speedtest.net, using multiple servers. The download speed remained about the same, but my upload and ping speed was consistently twice as fast with the setting set to "enable".
Here's the first set of tests, with it set to "enable": http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...1&d=1226691721 Here's the second set of tests, with it set to "disable": http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...1&d=1226691732 And here's the final set of tests, with it back to "enable", where I left it: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...1&d=1226691737 |
