To me that basically means that the syntax of the file is different in this thread then what's on the devices...

For Real?

Has anyone in the Touch community actually used NueAudio with success?

it works for me, but i dunno if its actually doing anything to the audiopara file itself. doesnt seem like volumes are raising and lowering like replacing the audiopara does

Thanks for the input!
I've done quite a bit of testing and I'm still not completely satisfied.
Which ROM are you using? (I'm using OMJ's v2 w/java)
The error I get with Nueaudio is .net framework incompatible (not new enough)
I can tweak audiopara manually, but I just don't have the time to write a program to make it simple to adjust.

After trying many times it, does not want to work on my phone with speaker. Reverted back to original and now my phone is completely stable

Just wanted to say, this happens on my phone too. You can avoid it if you turn the audio down at least one notch before turning on the speaker phone, but if you leave the audio maxed when you turn on speaker, it will zonk out and reboot every time.

Since I can't always remember to adjust volume before switching, and I don't like just cutting people off as my phone reboots, I am avoiding this for now until that problem is resolved.

works fine for me i just wished there was a way to keep the file in place. Seems like after a few soft resets it goes back to the original file or something cause the sounds goes back to the low stock form. I have to reload the .cab and its fine again.

Anybody no of a way to not have to reload it every other day?

Does the file have to be renamed before you paste it, or can you paste it as is?

This is from an older thread.
It should work on 3.xxx ROMs. If you like it, let me know (and/or hit 'Thanks').
I tweaked it to do exactly what you are talking about.
First two levels very low, upper two volumes very high, BT high, Spkr phone mod high (highest distorts a little but is still very loud)

Don't forget to reboot after you copy it into the /windows dir.

Good Luck,
DJ

This is the only audiopara that's worked on my Touch with the latest Bell ROM. In-ear volume isn't ridiculously loud, but it's a little better. Speakerphone is WAAAAY louder. :D Thanks!
