I just installed the cab and then tried to copy the audiopara.csv file to \windows. I get an error about not having permission. I can't delete the file, rename, or doing anything. It also won't let me change the read-only flag. Tried soft-reset and that didn't help.

Get Total Commander program, if you dont have it. That will allow you to copy that file into windows dir.

If anyone's feeling up to editing this csv, what I thought was really great about the old one was that not only did it make the loud volumes louder, it also made the softs softer. If I'm in a quiet room, I can't turn my volume down enough so as to not be overheard.

BTW no2chems nueaudio program to edit the audiopara works on our phones i just tested it out. http://www.weienterprises.com/nue/nueaudio.html

This is from an older thread.
It should work on 3.xxx ROMs. If you like it, let me know (and/or hit 'Thanks').
I tweaked it to do exactly what you are talking about.
First two levels very low, upper two volumes very high, BT high, Spkr phone mod high (highest distorts a little but is still very loud)

Don't forget to reboot after you copy it into the /windows dir.

nueaudio won't run on my touch either, using dharvey's ROM, it came pre-installed but won't run.

Also, I just installed the above file and it didn't seem to do anything for me...still very low volume ringer....seems to have been this way ever since I installed SRS WOW....

UPDATE! Good news guys, as soon as you import this .csv file, nueaudio now works....NOW I can adjust everything! Whoo hooo :headbang:
