Very Strange Problem
 

My phone has sorta locked up and is non responsive. It isn't totally locked up but it is running so slow that it won't let you do anything. I have tried soft resetting it many times and hasn't helped. It takes forever for it to do anything. I haven't added or deleted anything so I know it isn't a software conflict. Is there anyway to get this thing back working without having to hard reset the entire phone?

Most like it's probably a process that is running at 100%. Double-check your add/remove programs list to see if you have anything that possibly got installed that you are unaware of.

Also check your current running apps in task manager, start shutting them down one at a time. The device speeds up after you close one, there is the bogey

Those are all great ideas but the phone is non-responsive. I had to do a hard reset. It finally came up with a white screen that said you have either tried to shutdown the phone improperly or have installed software that is causing a conflict. I haven't tried to shut it down and there has been nothing installed on that phone for well over two months and it has been working fine. I wasn't even using it this morning when it locked up. So I'm not sure what the heck went wrong.

Did the hard-reset help? If not, get it replaced at a store
