Touchpal vs. Touch Keyboard.

I believe I have come to a realization of a possible reason why the Touch Keyboard is so damn slow.

As you are typing with the Touch keyboard, the text is displayed twice. Once in the keyboard top bar, and once in the text input box. That's twice as slow.

Touchpal only displays what is being typed on the keyboard and then when you click on the word or hit the space key it inputs it into the text input box.

All said, this means the Touch keyboard is twice as slow as Touchpal.

Personally I prefer the Touch keyboard and if it was possible to make it work similarly to Touchpal, that would be awesome. Does anyone know if this is possible?

get over yourself dude, i was stating that i dont like it sorry your e-rage is out of control. its keys are too small and i dont find it to run that great. maybe the OP should look at different keyboards besides touchpal

Yes I actually have Touchpal V3 installed and registered but prefer the Touch keyboard as it is easier to use IMHO. I hope something comes from this thread as I think it would be a great fix for the lag in the Touch Keyboard.

i found out what the fix was and it wasnt what you are looking for sorry. but on the touchpal site they have instructions on how to make your own layout and i bet you could make one look and feel exactly like the htc touch keyboard again sorry no real solution but i believe my suggestion above is possible.and one more thing what is it exaclty you dont like about touch pal i might be able to help that with a quick solution.
