BT Stereo Headset for XV6900?

Hey,

What would you guys recommend as a bluetooth stereo headset for the XV6900.
Important Factors:
+ Sound Quality
+ Compact
+ Good Design
+ Compatible

Also does anyone know where I could purchase a standard black battery door for my XV6900. The all white casing is a bit too much, a two tone paint job would make it look a bit more masculine.

Thanks,
Nite Rider

Re: BT Stereo Headset for XV6900?

ht820 by motorola, I have tried both the ht820's and the s9's and the sound quality on the ht820 is far better IMO, i have also tried a set of lg's cant remember model number, but the best set of which I have tried is the ht820's, these headphones also go great with the motorola dc800, which you can use to hook up to a tv and use as wireless headphones, or you could hook the dc800 up to a stereo and play music through your phone to the stereo. The ht820s are available online for about 60-90 bucks! they are rechargeable, and I have tested them on both the ppc-6800 and the ppc-6900 (basically the same phones as what verizon has the mogul and the touch)

I prefer the Plantronics Voyager 855 Stereo Bluetooth Headset.

It can be found at the Plantronics website:

I will add my vote for the HT820 by Motorola. Its a little bulkier than most but not excessively so, the sound and volume are excellent and the controls are easy to use.

I like the Sony DS980 in-ear phones for music. Very good sound and good controls for changing tracks, volume, etc. They have deep bass response and are probably the most compact bluetooth stereo phones you can get. I bought them for use on my motorcycle and they work great. Decent sound isolation with the in-ear placement. They are also comfortable. I've fallen asleep with them on and slept through the night.

I don't really understand the design of the ds980 - why not just use a wired headset at that point?

The Motorola S9's are great...

I've tried the Plantronics 855's, and had issues with a 'crinkling' noise that was loud (because of the in-ear design) whenever the wire between the two headsets was moved, at lower volumes...

I second these headphones. Good quality sound and comfort. I like these way better than the motorola headphones; both versions

+1 for the Voyager 855

I found the Moto S9's uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time and they did not seal out external noise as well as the Voyager imo. I can listen to music or a podcast while mowing the lawn using the Voyager.
