Re: XV6900 discussion thread. It's been released. Now what?

I just got my XV6900 today. The white is pretty nice actually I didn't think i would like it. No signs of GPS however. I have been reading this awesome HTC Touch forum and I have a few questions. Can i put the Sprint 6.1 ROM on my XV6900? All of these awesome cube mod tools should work correct?

I would rather flash the ROM now rather than mod it and then reflash at a later point.

Can someone test the most currnet version of MS voice command on this version phone? I would like to see if there are still confirmation issues and low bluetooth volume for the prompts.

just to let you guys know that you can buy a Black battery cover from sprint for $16 bucks. I went into a store and bought one and the phone feels better in the hand.

i tried that yesterday with my pair. it does indeed feel a lot better, and it doesnt look all that bad either, if you could get a black sprint stylus it would be even better

So change the housing. Get an OEM Sprint Touch Housing and change it out keeping the Verizon Wireless digitizer instead of the Sprint one.

Finish the job and you will have a black Verizon Touch.

EDIT:: Here is a full OEM Black Sprint Touch Housing. Just use your Verizon digitizer instead of the Sprint one included.

These issues were fixed with the 3.16 Titian roms, anyone tried this with the new Version Rom yet?
