Best Gmail Solution for Sprint HTC Touch..

Hey guys whats goin on..I purchased a Sprint HTC Touch and it should be coming in tomorrow...I just want to know what is the best way I can get Gmail to my phone...Is there an application I can put on my phone or is there another way...?...If anybody can point me in the right direction with a link or something then that would be nice...I did do a search but didn't find the best solution...I'm just trying to trick out my phone the way you guys do..So thanks to anyone who replies..

I personally like IMAP rather than POP3. The phone comes with Pocket Outlook and you can setup that for your GMail account, no need to install a 3rd party app.

Is there a tutorial for that...?...And how fast is it, does it update the message on your phone and online at the same time..?...And thanks again

Do an Advance Search for "Push Email" and select it to only search in the HTC Vogue forum for recommendations and reviews on the options available.

I did that but didn't find 1 specifically for Gmail..Thats all I'm looking for at the moment..

Mindfrosts suggestion is probably the best then, the setup is easy, you really don't need a tutorial, you'll see once you have the phone in your hand.

Okay I guess I will ask questions when I get it...I just wanted to know how to set it up before I got the phone..

You can select specific folders to sync. If you delete or move something on your phone it will be moved on GMail. It DOESN'T automatically push the email to your phone though. You can set it up to check for new mail every 15, 30, 60, etc minutes though.

Honestly, I think the Java Midlet is the best.

Gmail.jar + Java emulator = MMMM good!

How hard is it to install and what is the best way gmail app or imap..?...And is there tutorial for the gmail java app..?
