adj. backlight a diff way...??
 

i want to adjust my backlight by using a button on the SPRINT HTC today plugin, anyway to do this? I know I can do it from the launcher menu, but i want to get rid of the launcher button. So, any ideas?

After putting a backlight brightness adjustment link on my cube, it was not much help because bright sunlight made it impossible to see which side of the cube was up! So I've now got it at the bottom bar's right softkey on Today Screen, thanks to KeySwop (freeware). That way, even in blinding sun, I just press the right/red hardware button (to bring me home to the Today Screen) and then the lower right corner of the screen, giving me brightness control via right and left clicks of the big navigation key. You could probably make just about any button take you there by putting the following path in the right place...

Windows\Backlight.exe

The prob with using windows\backlight.exe is it brings up the backlight adjusting screen. I want it to be a quick button like in the app launcher. So when I push it, it will adjust on it's own the same way.

I searched a while, the only thing I found was SPB Pocket Plus. With their links, you could create a link or use what they have.

I don't need another launcher app though, I'm changing the Sprint HTC one. Been a long day of icon searching, lol.
